For a split second I experienced nirvana as I thought you were dying of cancer. I felt a happiness that I have never felt before as I ascended into a realm of pure transcendence and freedom from earthly sensations. My work was done. The thought that my tireless crusade against you had possibly played a small part in a team-up with a terminal illness in the ultimate victory was wonderful but quickly left behind in my transformation.
But then. I missed the kick. I was knocked backward by despair as the realization of my misunderstanding rushed past me into the endzone. And even a broken bone caused by excessive celebration was too much to hope for.
The game never ends. And unfortunately for me, the legend continues.
