There were a lot of great jams this month by a lot of great artists. But this song is so good. It will be released as the third single off “Teenage Dream” later this fall.
Katy Perry – Firework

I almost forgot to post this one. I kind of decided it a while ago and then forgot that I didn’t post it already. Maybe you’ve already seen this. But if you haven’t seen it before, it’s new to you.
Phil Adé – Borderline
This song has been on repeat in my head for the last week and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!
K’naan – Wavin’ Flag (Celebration Mix)
This was a tough one to pick. I also know this song came out a while ago. But for some reason it is, in fact, the jam of this month. Enjoy.
Wiz Khalifa – This Plane
Wale is pretty good at rapping. “Brain so good she messed around and got a bachelor/Call me Tiger Woods, I’ll be back for my Masters…”
Wale ft. Chris Brown and Fabolous – Pretty Girls Remix
Also, our website is broke as fuck right now. Can someone who has the access codes fix it please???
Okay, so this is kind of a late pass, but if it wasn’t this it was probably going to be Lemonade.
Kid Cudi ft. MGMT and Ratatat – Pursuit of Happiness
Well, it’s the one year anniversary (ish) of this feature, and after a January devoid of jams we have experienced a February that is absolutely CHOCK FULL of them. There were a lot to choose from, but this one sticks out a bit more from all the rest. It also has one of the better videos I’ve seen this year. So watch it:
Dan Black ft. Kid Cudi – Symphonies Remix
This song is technically from 2009, but it’s still the only Jam of the Month for the new decade so far. This might have something to do with the fact that there haven’t been any good songs so far in 2010. It also might have something to do with the fact that this track features some of the best rap artists in the DC area. It’s also much better than the original.
DJ Quicksilva ft. Southeast Slim, X.O., Nu The Mayor, Don Juan, Kingpen Slim, Phil Adé, Proverb, Bear Witnez!, Black Diamond, Like Bloodz, Gerreddi, and Raheem DeVaughn – Where They Do That At (DMV Remix)
Rounding out the year with some Trey Songz. I’m sure this has been all over the radio, but I don’t really care. ‘Cause we don’t buy no drinks at the bar…
Trey Songz ft. Fabolous – Say Aah
Leaving the “mainstream” for a little bit here… The dude Phil Adé is on fire atm. I could have probably picked any track off his mixtape Starting on JV, so I took the one with a video not recorded with a camcorder.
It’s a real good song though. Video directed by Tabi Bonney.
Phil Adé – Hollywood
